Polish President Andrzej Duda and US leader Donald Trump will together pay tribute to Polish people who took part in the 1944 Warsaw Uprising against the Germans, the Polish president’s chief of staff, Krzysztof Szczerski, said on Tuesday.

The ceremony, in front of the Warsaw Uprising Monument on the city's Krasinskich Square, will "give a symbolic dimension" to the US president's visit to Poland July 5-6, Szczerski said. May be of interest to you Minister Szczerski: Place of Trump's speech in Warsaw symbolic

Both first ladies will also attend the ceremony, along with a group of veterans, according to Szczerski.

Directly after the ceremony, President Trump will make a key speech in the Polish capital, Krzysztof Szczerski added. (PAP)
