Presidents of Poland and Azerbaijan, Andrzej Duda and Ilham Aliyev on Friday discussed the situation in the South Caucasus and energy cooperation with the EU, presidential Minister Krzysztof Szczerski told PAP.
The presidents discussed issues relating to security in the South Caucasus, in particular in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, said the presidential minister.
The talk also covered "energy projects and the development of energy cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan and possible joint projects with Poland's participation."
The two also raised the issue of "cooperation between NATO and the countries of the Caucasus and issues relating to broadly understood security in the post-Soviet region."
On Saturday, the Polish president is scheduled to meet with Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis, British PM David Cameron and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. (PAP)
