Polonia Restituta for US Ambassador

President Bronislaw Komorowski on Tuesday decorated US Ambassador Stephen D. Mull with the Polonia Restituta Commander’s Cross for his contributions to Polish-American ties.
Komorowski thanked Mull for his ambassadorial services and "outstanding contributions to Polish-American friendship". He also voiced gratitude for Mull's efforts to strengthen security in east Europe.
"This tenure helped strengthen a friendship built on a common understanding of freedom", the president said.
Mull, who is ending his mission in Poland, called his ambassadorship "a privilege" and thanked Komorowski for his "unwavering friendship towards the United States".
Mull entered his office in Poland in November 2012. He is to be replaced by Paul Wayne Jones. (PAP)
