President Andrzej Duda will meet on Monday with participants of a working conference of the Three Seas Initiative held in Warsaw, Minister Krzysztof Szczerski, the head of the President's Office, has informed.

According to the minister, the Monday Warsaw conference, held on the initiative of the US Embassy in Warsaw and the Atlantic Council think-tank, will be attended by representatives of the presidential administrations of Poland, the US, Croatia, Slovenia and Romania, US ambassadors accredited in the Three Seas countries and heads of diplomatic missions of Three Seas countries accredited in Warsaw, as well as by an international group of experts and business representatives.

Minister Szczerski stressed that the main aim of the meeting is "to discuss various concrete investment projects that may be initiated this year by companies from Europe and the United States within the Initiative."

The Three Seas Initiatives groups the countries between the Baltic, Black and Adriatic seas to cooperate on infrastructural and energy projects.

Participants in the meeting are to discuss in detail "issues related to, among others, participation of private and American investors in the implementation of Three Seas plans which were presented in 2018 at the Bucharest Initiative Summit and preparations for this year's summit, scheduled to take place in Slovenia in the second half of this year."

Krzysztof Szczerski announced that during the meeting the President will put special emphasis on "investments in energy security and transport infrastructure."

"The President's aim is to move the discussion within the Initiative to the level of implementation of concrete projects, that is why we are working on a Three Seas Fund and the implementation of the strategic alliance with Washington for the benefit of the whole of Europe," stressed the head of the President's Office.
