President to take part in Davos Economic Forum
Polish President Andrzej Duda will take part in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, to be held January 21-25, where he is scheduled to meet a number of global leaders, presidential spokesman Blażej Spychalski said.
President Andrzej Duda will hold several political meetings in Davos, including with the new Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro, and NATO head Jens Stoltenberg, Błażej Spychalski announced. Business meetings are also planned with the Israeli representative of startups and a Chinese leader in the electromobility industry, he added.
He also said that "an extremely important element" of this year's forum will be the Polish pavilion. "Polish entrepreneurs will be there to show the strength of the Polish economy."
The World Economic Forum takes place every year in Davos, Switzerland, in late January. Apart from being an academic conference, the Davos forum is also an opportunity for informal talks between the world's top politicians and business leaders. (PAP)
