Polish, German Presidents discuss Bundestag's hearing on Hungary, Poland
Polish President Andrzej Duda has talked with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in connection with a hearing in the Bundestag devoted to the situation in Poland and Hungary. The talks took place in Latvia on Thursday, Head of the President's Office Krzysztof Szczerski said.

Stigmatising, in parliament, another country, the Polish authorities for implementing an electoral programme that has gained society's democratic legitimacy is, in the president's opinion, contrary to European values," said Krzysztof Szczerski.
According to Krzysztof Szczerski the German President "promised to get acquainted with the matter." The presidential minister added that the two Presidents also talked about the list of persons taking part in the hearing. (PAP)
