President encourages Poles to vote in Sunday general election
President Andrzej Duda in televised address encouraged Poles to cast their votes in the Sunday general elections.
President Duda encouraged Poles to take part in the vote. "Every government which wants to introduce changes for the good of the country needs a strong social mandate," the president said. "So I say let’s vote, as it only depends from us whether we will live in harmony building a common, good future," the president added.
"I trust that the decision that we will make together will be a good one for Poland. I deeply believe in the wisdom and experience of Poles," said the president in a nation-wide television address on Friday evening.
The president expressed hope that following the elections, "we will forget about what divides us keeping in mind what unites us for the sake of a good future of our country." (PAP, own information)
