President congratulates schoolgoers
President Andrzej Duda Tuesday wished Poland's schoolyouth and teachers all the best in the new school year. Andrzej Duda and his wife attended a schoolyear opening in a school in the coastal resort Jastarnia.
In his address to the school's pupils Duda reminded that humans never stopped learning. "We learn all our lives regardless of what profession we pursue. We must learn all the time if we want to be good in our profession, if we want to be respected as specialists, as experts, as good craftsmen. The truth is that there never will come a day when you will (...) not have to learn anymore. So it's worth getting used to it, because this is how it will be throughout your lives", the president said.
Andrzej Duda also wished all the best to teachers and expressed hope for their contentment with local authorities and the central government, which largely decided about their working conditions.(PAP)
