A conversation between the Presidents of Poland and the United States

In the afternoon of 10 January 2007, the President of the Republic of Poland, Lech Kaczyński, had a telephone conversation with the President of the United States, George W. Bush.

The conversation took place at the initiative of the President of the United States. It focused on Middle East policies and on our two countries’ joint engagement in Iraq. The two Presidents also exchanged opinions on the next activities to be undertaken by the stabilization mission in the country. The common objective of Poland and the United States is to safeguard security for Iraq and its people and to provide assistance in the reconstruction of the state.
