President of the Republic of Poland visited the Republic of Estonia

On September 18th 2001 President of the Republic of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski paid a visit to Tallin in the Republic of Estonia. During the meeting of five presidents of the region - of the Republic of Estonia, Republic of Latvia, Republic of Lithuania, Republic of Finland and Republic of Poland, the statement of the following contents was adopted: `The President strongly condemned the barbaric acts of terrorism committed against the United States of America. They agreed that these terrorist acts were an offence against the freedom and rights of all civilized nations. The five Presidents expressed their solidarity with the United States and affirmed the determination of their countries to lend support for the battle against terrorism.` During the press conference the President of the Republic of Poland announced that he proposed a conference of the Central and Eastern Europe countries to take place in Poland in the nearest future. During the conference participated country representatives will debate on how to fight with the organized terrorism. `We would like Poland to become a place where new impulse, new concepts to fight international terrorism are suggested. We would like to express our solidarity in the fight with terrorism, the largest problem of the XXIST century`, the President said.
