Marta Gajęcka

Marta Gajęcka serves as Vice President of PGE Renewable Energy S.A. and Vice President of the Polish Committee for Electric Energy, and is member of Polish Electricity Association and she is managing EDP Energia Polska.. Previously, she served as Vice President of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA. in charge of development and international relations.

Next to her extensive work experience in the private sector, Marta Gajęcka has also broad expertise in public administration and diplomacy.

She was Executive Director of Ernst & Young Global R & D and Innovation Services EMEIA Tax Center where she advised on EU investment in research, innovation and development.

Among others, she was Vice President of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg where she was responsible for financing investment projects in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Bulgaria, as well as for financing of Trans-European Networks throughout the European Union.

She has also served as Deputy Governor at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London, President of Eques Investments TFI SA, Ernst & Young Partner in Poland, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Finance, Financial Advisor to the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the European Union in Brussels, and the Financial Advisor in the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the OECD in Paris.

Ms Gajęcka graduated from the Chair of International Economic and Political Relations, Warsaw School of Economics, she also holds a Polish-French diploma in the framework of the European Studies Programme run by the Warsaw School of Economics in partnership with the Institute of Political Studies in Paris.
