President of the Republic of Poland Mr Lech Kaczyński sent a message of condolence to President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mr Asif Ali Zardari in connection with the terrorist attack in Islamabad.

The message reads as follows:

„Moved by the news about the terrorist attack staged in front of the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad, I would like to extend on my own behalf and on behalf of the entire Polish Nation our sincerest expressions of sympathy. We all oppose in most determined and outright terms this horrible act of barbarity which deserves an unequivocal condemnation.

Into your hands, Your Excellency, I wish to offer our sincere condolences to the Families and Friends of the victims of this tragedy and our wishes for a swift recovery to those injured in the wake of this act of terror.”
