Mansion in Lucień
Holiday or conference, or maybe an integration meeting in the facility of the President of the Republic of Poland? There is a perfect location for this – the Lucień Mansion.
The mansion is situated in central Poland, in the borderland of Mazowsze and Kujawy.
It is located by Lucieńskie Lake (203 ha) in a forest complex of the Gostyń-Włocławek Landscape Park. It is not far from Warsaw (140 km), Łódź (90 km) and Płock (30 km).
The mansion was erected in the 1960s and until the late 1980s it was used by the Council of State. At the turn of the 1980s and 1990s it was handed over to the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. Since then it has been modernised and expanded.
Today the mansion forms a modern conference and holiday facility that functions throughout the year.
It plays host to the famous Lucień Seminars organised by the President of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Lech Kaczyński.
The Seminars gather prominent Polish intellectuals who represent various points of view and ideas but always take into consideration the matters that are most important and best for Poland.
When the mansion is not used by the Head of State it functions as a generally accessible conference and recreation centre.
Guests are offered detached holiday houses and hotel rooms. The recreational base is comprised of: a tennis court, a sauna, a gym, jetties for anglers and strollers. The place also offers an opportunity to learn horseback riding and to ride under the supervision of an experienced instructor. The facility offers rental of tourist bicycles and water equipment.
Picturesque landscapes, microclimate of pine forests, as well as tasty food and the silence around, interrupted only by the trill of birds, make everyone who has at least visited this place once want to come here again.
