Castle in Wisła
Currently the Upper Castle, along with the Chapel, is open to visitors from Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for groups of up to 20 people, a guide is provided.
On Sundays and holidays there are Masses open for the general public (12:00 p.m.) and evangelical Masses at 10:30 a.m. It is also possible to book the Chapel for religious celebrations.
Individual tourists may use the hotel section of the Mansion, which includes the Lower Castle and the Wilderness Hut, throughout the whole year. Guests are offered tastefully decorated apartments and double rooms. They can use the sauna, the gym or rent bicycles.
The outdoor fireplace deserves special attention. Popular barbecues with excellent local dishes are organised here both in summer and in winter, accompanied by highland music.
The hotel base of the Mansion provides the possibility of organising conferences and courses, as well as events celebrating special occasions (for approx. 60 people).
The location of the Mansion is definitely one of its advantages. Situated where Biała Wisełka and Czarna Wisełka merge, at the foot of Barania Mountain, it is a perfect base for hikers. There are tourist trails that lead directly from the Castle to Szarcula, Stecówka, Kubalonka, Barania Góra and Kozińce.
In the vicinity of the Mansion, well-prepared slopes and trails for cross-country skiing await skiers in winter. In the Biała Wisełka valley, in Stecówka and Kubalonka sledge rides are organised.
In 2008 the Adam Małysz ski jump was put into use in the neighbouring Wisła-Malinka, where one can both admire the jumps of champions as well as visit the construction.
