The First Year in Office – significant events

I shall support the development of this country with a view to improving the quality of life of all citizens. (...) I shall strengthen and support the bonds between all of us so as to promote development and prosperity in Poland. I believe in the Polish way. I believe that we can traverse this way boldly and without hesitation. I believe in Poland. I believe that there is patriotism in our everyday efforts, our daily toils. I also believe in our skills and knowledge; in short, I believe in us, Poles.
