Jean-Claude Trichet, President of the European Central Bank, received from President Bronisław Komorowski Commander Cross with Star of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland. 

Visit by the Emir of Qatar

The Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheik Hamad Bin Khalifa Al - Thani paid an official visit to Poland. The official welcoming ceremony was held on the courtyard of the Presidential Palace and was then followed by plenary talks. 

Presidential meeting to mark the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Visegrad Group

Topics such as nuclear energy, economic crisis in the EU, and others, were visited in a discussion of Presidents of Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia during their meeting in Budapest on Saturday, October 8. 

President visits New York City

On 22-23 September 2011, President Bronisław Komorowski and the First Lady Anna Komorowska visited New York. The high point of the Polish President’s visit to New York was his participation in the 66th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
