President attends the Meeting of Heads of the Baltic States
On Friday, December 2, 2011, in Estonia, President Bronisław Komorowski noted that the Baltic States should not only be linked by their common history and by the membership of NATO and the EU but most of all by good business transacted among them.
At the press conference wrapping up the meeting of the Heads of Baltic States, Bronisław Komorowski argued that the community of interests is important not only from the perspective of the whole region but also from the EU perspective.
- We are linked together not only by history but also by our membership of NATO and the EU. We would all of us like to be also linked by good business transactions mutually beneficial to all states involved, said President Komorowski.
- From the Polish point of view, as he emphasized, of utmost relevance will be the success of vitally important projects in transportation infrastructure and also of energy-related arrangements for the region.
