President to discuss Poland's position in EU with ambassadors

Poland's position in the EU and the challenges the bloc faces will be the main subjects of President Andrzej Duda's meeting with the diplomatic corps accredited to the country, the President's chief aide, Krzysztof Szczerski, said on Thursday.


The President will hold the traditional New Year's meeting with foreign ambassadors at the Presidential Palace on Thursday evening. See also: President to deliver major foreign policy speech on January 11


Andrzej Duda is going to make an address on his vision of Poland's position and role in the European Union and the world. Apart from the European issues, the President will also talk about Poland's membership of the UN Security Council, security issues and relations with the Polish diaspora abroad.


The President will also highlight Poland's 100th anniversary of regaining its freedom, according to Krzysztof Szczerski. (PAP)
