President Andrzej Duda on Wednesday presented credentials to Poland's new ambassadors to Austria, Moldova and Panama. The ambassador to Panama will also represent Poland in seven other countries in the region.

 

Leszek Bialy, the ambassador to Panama, will also cover Polish interests in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Haiti, Belize, the Dominican Republic and Guatemala.

 

Jolanta Kozlowska will represent Poland in Austria and Bartlomiej Zdaniuk will serve as ambassador to Moldova.

 

Jolanta Kozlowska has previously held the position of Poland's consul-general in Munich and Cologne. She has been working in public administration since 1992.

 

Leszek Bialy is the first Polish ambassador to Panama since the mission was reinstated in the country in January this year. He has worked at the Polish embassy in Madrid, been deputy head of the Polish Institute in Bucharest and worked in the European and public diplomacy departments of the Polish Foreign Ministry.

 

Bartlomiej Zdaniuk has been an academic employee at the University of Warsaw's Institute of Political Science since 2003, with a focus on Moldovan issues. In 2014 and 2016, he took part in the OSCE's monitoring missions to Moldova. (PAP)
