President Andrzej Duda has declared that he will announce his decision regarding a motion to add more questions to the September 6 referendum after examining all the presented arguments and their legal implications.

The president made the declaration during a Tuesday meeting with signatories of a motion to add more questions to the September 6 referendum.

Participants in the meeting presented their arguments for holding a referendum regarding issues signed by some 6 million, namely, the retirement age, compulsory schooling for six-year-olds and State Forests.

The president declared that after thoroughly examining all the presented arguments and their legal implications, he would take a decision and present it this week.

The September 6 referendum, initiated by former president Bronislaw Komorowski, is planned to ask questions concerning single-seat constituencies, budget financing for political parties and resolving tax law doubts in taxpayers' favour.(PAP, own information)
