Władysław Stasiak - Secretary of State
Chief of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland
Born on 15 March 1966 in Wrocław. Tragically killed on April 10, 2010 in a plane crash near Smoleńsk.
Education:
- 2000 - Completed study programme on the shaping of the US National Security Policy, USA.
- 1993 - Graduated from the Polish National School of Public Administration.
- 1992 - Completed foreign traineeship, Directorate General for the National Police, Ministry of the Interior, France.
- 1989 – Graduated from the University of Wroclaw, Faculty of History

- 2007 - 2009 – Chief, National Security Bureau
- 2007 - Minister of the Interior and Administration
- 2006 - 2007 – Chief, National Security Bureau
- 2005 - 2006 – Deputy Minister of the Interior and Administration, in charge of the oversight of Police, Border Guards, and Government Protection Office.
- 2002 - 2005 – Deputy Mayor of Warsaw, in charge of security, crisis management and implementation of the network of inhabitants’ service offices.
- 1993 - 2002 – Supreme Chamber of Audit, Department of National Defence and State Security.
- 15 January 2009 appointed Secretary of State, Deputy Chief of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.
- Since 27 July 2009 - Chief of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.
