Grażyna Ignaczak-Bandych – Director General in the Chancellery of the President
Grażyna Ignaczak-Bandych graduated in Polish philology, having also completed postgraduate studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences and at the University of Warsaw in the field of local government, control and audit, and project management.
In the years 1998 – 2006 she worked for the local government of the City of Warsaw, sitting among others on the Warsaw City Council, and chairing the committee for education and family.
From 200, Ms Ignaczak-Bandych worked at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as a director of the Department of State Patronage, then as deputy director of the Department of Economics. In 2005-2007 she was Director General of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. From 2007 to 2015, Ms Ignaczak-Bandych served as Director General on one of the central agencies pf government administration: in the Central Directorate of State Archives.
Since 2008, she has been an appointed civil servant.
From 2004 on, Ms Ignaczak-Bandych has been an academic teacher at the Kozminski University, and subsequently, the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. In the years 1998 – 2000, she worked as a Polish language teacher.
