Andrzej Duda - Undersecretary of State
Born on 16.05.1972 in Krakow.
Education:
- 24.01.2005 – Mr Duda obtained a title of Doctor of Law (specialising in administrative law) from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University of Krakow by virtue of a resolution of the Faculty Council, following the presentation of a PhD thesis ‘Legal interest in the Polish administrative law’ on 06.12.2004.
- 1991-1996 – Higher education - Mr Duda studied law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University of Krakow and presented an MA thesis “Dispossession of real estate in case of land destined for the construction of toll motorways” in the Chair of Administrative Procedure of Jagiellonian University;
Professional career:
- 2006-2007 – Undersecretary of State. Ministry of Justice
- From 1997 – University teacher at the Jagiellonian University, Faculty of Law and Administration, first in the Chair of Administrative Procedure, then, from 2002 in the Chair of Administrative Law
- 1997-2006 – Legal advice services to companies (especially construction- related legal and administrative advice)
Languages: good command of English, passive Russian and German
Married, one daughter.
