President of RP sends a message of condolence to the President of the Republic of Guatemala
The President of the Republic of Poland, Mr Lech Kaczyński, sent a message of condolence to the President of the Republic of Guatemala, Mr Alvaro Colom Caballeros in connection with the landslide in the Department of Alta Verapaz.
The message reads as follows:
‘’ Moved by the news about the fatal landslide in the Department of Alta Verapaz, in which 30 people were killed and 60 other are missing, I wish to convey to Your Excellency my expressions of deep sympathy. On behalf of the Polish Nation and on my own behalf, may I ask you, Sir, to extend our sincere condolences to the Families and Friends of the Victims of this catastrophe.”
